If you require a doctor in a medical emergency outside normal working hours, please contact the surgery on  0345 605 99 99 and you will be re-directed to the Out-of-hours provider which is at present provided by West Yorkshire Urgent Care Services.

Whatever the day or time if you experience severe chest pain, loss of blood or suspect broken bones the nearest Accident & Emergency department is situated at Dewsbury District Hospital.  It is open 24 hours a day; 365 days year.  However, A&E does not stand for Anything & Everything.  People who use this service for minor problems may prevent others from getting the immediate care that they need.  '999' should only be used in a life-threatening situation.

Alternatively for general medical advice, you may contact NHS DIRECT 24 hours a days 365 days a year on 0845 46 47.
